Default Travis' second deer this season

He killed this 112 lb doe yesterday morning down in the swamp as it was slipping out ahead of the dogs. A single head and neck shot at 40 yards with a Remington 1100 12 gauge and Winchester SuperX 00 buckshot while standing in the mud and water in his regular location. He hasn't been able to hunt as often this year due to his job and NJROTC events, but he's managed to capitalize on his opportunities. BTW, three NJROTC rifle competitions and three top shot championships so far this year! I taught him the basics beginning when he was five, he's far surpassed his teacher with his shooting skills!!!!!!

Good deal and love the pic...........I use to love hearing a good pack of dogs burning it but don't go any more. Excellent way to bring the young ones up to the sport................

Yep, that one was all gone by the time turkey season ended back in 2015.
