Default Recently took a day trip up to Table Rock (Image Heavy)

The wife and I got a new DSLR (our first actually) and I decided to take a trip up to Table Rock to take some pictures. Thought I'd share with you guys.

they look pretty good, I am sure you will enjoy it...I know I have in the past. I still have an old Nikon F3HP and a bunch of lenses and other equipment. When I moved to GA I sold all of my darkroom equipment. Are you familiar with the Rule of Thirds? Happy Snapping!

I am. Sometimes I use it. As in with This photo:

But sometimes I just let the overall composition take over (not that I'm all that great at it).

I hear ya...I used to adjust in the darkroom if needed...you get to do it in the light while watch TV I did learn in Photo Journalism class that it is much easier to start in the camera.

Default First visit to Table Rock

Thanks for posting. My wife and I made a visit to the park and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Compared to other State Park cabins I stayed in these are well equipped. It even had a Keurig coffe maker with complimentary coffee.
