Thread: Myrtle beach area guides?

    Default Myrtle beach area guides?

Looking to take a coworker and his fiancé on a fishing trip as a wedding gift in mid to late March. He lives in Socastee/Myrtle so like to be around 1 hour drive if possible. Want 6 hour trip and preferably in shore for anything. He’s never been fishing and dosnt eat fish but wants to try fishing so something that’s fun/busy is great. Shark fishing sounds great to me.

    Thanks
    Dale

I use Captain Ryan every time I fish in Myrtle beach usually in September for big Reds. Give him a call and tell him Stan and Zack said hello.

Just to let you know,,,there are very little sharks (If any) in March. The water is to cold. Small spiny dogfish,,,yes, but not big sharks.

M.B. is pretty limited on inshore during march.

I would wait until June if you could, if you have to fish M.B........................

How far away do we need to drive to get into some good inshore fishing? If not worth it we will wait till summer

That’s not an issue at all. Willing to drive all the way to Charleston or anywhere in between
