    Congrats! What cartridge do you shoot? I always hear people say how much harder hogs are to kill than deer, but every single hog I've killed (most of which have been with a 7mm08, but some with a .308 and 30-06), several of which have been very large, have dropped right away with a shoulder shot. Deer run further than hogs for me.

    308, a hogs heart is behind the shoulder but a deer’s is slightly back. Different aiming points for drop shots
