    any of ya'll ever stayed there and fished the Edisto? Thinking it might be a cool springtime place to take the family and catch some redbreasts

    Great Place but wait until the river is down. She can be deadly. Another great place is on Hiway 15 at the State park in Canadys. Its not as crowded and got good hook-ups also.

    good deal. Have to give it a shot. Little ones are getting old enough for some trips with dad.

    cant remember if redbreast are on DNR's do not eat advisory or not for the edisto. some of the edisto fish are so may want to check it out before feeding your children. popular area for floating the river on inner tubes, rafts, ect. put in at state park and get out at givhans. as previously stated very dangerous river unless water is low and slow.

    Do they still have a lot of vandalism at that location? From what I can remember its a pretty bad place...
