    Default Public land hog hunting

I'm a nonresident looking for the best public or wildlife management areas for hog hunting, any recommendations ?

Same here. What county or area are you looking in?

Here is the 2017 hog density map if this helps-supposedly it's fairly accurate...

Any County. Very familiar with the Columbia area , daughter lives there but will go anywhere. Just started hunting again after years and prefer warmer climates. I assume a WMA is like a state game land here in PA. Also I've been told
semi-auto weapons allowed in South Carolina, is that true ?

Yes, sir. Deer season is over for me. Waccamaw and Pee Dee levels are up up up with more rain towards the end of the coming week. Guess I'll just practice guitar. Nice thing about living in the sticks on a flood plain is neighbors are too far to be annoyed by pinch harmonics. Bad thing is where I want to hunt's roads flood if ten families spill their coffee at the same time. LOL.

All the best spots will require SCUBA gear right now since they are all underwater.

I would look at Woodberry WMA in Florence county, Francis Marion WMA in Berkley and Charleston county near Awendaw.
