    Default Gunsmith Needed

Within 100 miles or so of the Aiken-Augusta area.
Son is refurbishing my Granddaddy's old Remington mdl 11.........At some pint in it's life the magazine ring apparently separated from the barrel and it was brazed/welded back slightly crooked. Which is causing it to bind on the magazine tube when cycling. This shotgun is from 1913 and went through Granddaddy and 4 sons. So it saw lots of use. Son has replaced magazine tube/all springs and friction rings. Now need a GS who could remove the barrel ring and braze/weld it back on straight.

Try the barrel exchange. If anyone has one they would but parts and such for the model 11 are hard to come by.
