Went to Wylie Saturday morning (3/16). Had longlines in the water at daybreak. The early bite was really good. Once the wind got up around 9 everything shut down. Caught fish scattered from 15'-30'. Orange and chartreuse and june bug jigs caught the most. All tipped with minnows. Kept some for the grill. Tossed a few females with eggs back. Even ran through a school of smaller bass at one point, which made a glorified mess of my lines, but it was all around a great morning on the water.

Made a trip out after work yesterday. Longlined and picked at a few until around 6:45-7 and then the bite got hot. Caught most in 24-30FOW. Water temp was 54-55 and the fish were holding closer to the bottom. Black and pink, and junebug colors caught most. All tipped with minnows. Kept a few for the grill and sent another handful that were full of eggs back.
