    Default RiverRatSC kayaking

I bought myself a caneo then a kayak. I've made a kayak trip down Pacolet River at Clifton Beach to Pacolet Mills. The picture of the fish is Lake Thicketty.

How long did it take to drift and fish that?

About 4 hours but it could been done in three if you paddle more and fish less. The first few miles has lots of rapids nothing above class 2 but plenty of them.

I had my wife drop me off because I don't trust the people around that area. I didn't fish it much but did manage a decent bass. I'm sure they're some good ones down through there but I didn't try very hard to find them. Currently a co-worker and I plan on floating Saturday morning but I'm not even taking a rod with me.
